Аннотация: Can we improve the environmental situation on our planet? The authors' answer is yes, we can if there are solutions to improve the environment (they do exist) and if they are integrated into the economic environment. Analyzing the effect of initial conditions on the possible reward for the absorption of atmospheric carbon by the so-called "Kyoto forest," the authors reach a conclusion on the preferred approach to raising forests in Siberia's conditions.
