Аннотация: A brief review of studies on the electrically controlled modification of surface anchoring in liquid crystals doped with ionic surfactants is presented. The most important research results concerning the control of the orientational structure and optical properties of liquid crystals by the ionic-surfactant method are discussed. © Sutormin V.
