Аннотация: The article shows the elements of the methodology for calculating the currents of an asymmetric three-phase linear MHD machine using an equivalent equivalent circuit. Simulation of the asymmetry of a one-sided transverse field inductor was performed for a multi-winding induction machine, powered by a three-phase frequency converter. To assess the current distribution, equivalent circuits were synthesized when the windings are connected with a star and a triangle. The calculation of the parameters of the asymmetric model of a three-phase MHD machine was carried out using specialized software interfaced with the modules of the Ansys software environment. Cross electromagnetic couplings of the inductor windings with a non-linear magnetic circuit are replaced by discrete reactive elements. When modeling the inductive couplings of the windings, controlled voltage sources were used. The study of the equivalent circuit synthesized in the Ansys environment was carried out in a software simulator. The program code is based on algorithms and methods of hybrid numerical analysis. The resulting vector diagram of the steady-state asymmetric state of a six-zone MHD inductor reflects with sufficient accuracy the substantially uneven distribution of currents between the phases of the transistor inverter. The results obtained provide grounds for correcting the operating modes of the converter under conditions of significant asymmetry.
