Аннотация: In this paper, a circularly polarized antenna array was presented for using in nanosatellites. Radiation characteristics were calculated and analyzed for different configurations of linear arrays and their elements. Simulation of characteristics of compact printed array was carried out. Array beams formed by a Butler matrix were calculated. Also polarization characteristics were estimated. The analysis showed that obtaining the highest gain in the coverage area on the one hand is accompanied by a decrease in the minimum gain on the other hand. With the array spacing more than 0.6λ, the grating lobes increase significantly, which leads to a decrease in the signal-to-noise ratio within the coverage area and to a decrease in the energy efficiency of the system as a whole.
