Аннотация: В статье проводится источниковедческий анализ приложения еженедельной областной газеты «Восточное обозрение» - «Сибирский сборник». Как и газета, приложение выпускалось под редакцией Н.М. Ядринцева. Это периодическое издание рассматривается как источник исторической информации, наряду с более традиционными видами документов статического, делопроизводственного, экономического и прочего характера. Являясь приложением одного из самых значимых изданий, «Сибирский сборник» тем не менее представляет интерес и как самостоятельная база для определения актуального социокультурного контекста жизни в Российской империи конца XIX века. Цель данной статьи связана с выявлением особенностей информационного образа северных территорий государства в указанный период. Выходящие регулярно публикации «Сибирского сборника» позволяют сформировать круг ключевых концептов о Севере как уникальном регионе. Качественный контент-анализ показал, что основные характеристики Севера связаны с его природными и климатическими условиями, коренными народами, местами традиционного проживания которых являются северные территории России, самобытностью жизнедеятельности в условиях Крайнего Севера. В данном случае местное информационное издание служило инструментом репрезентации региональной идентичности. The article provides a source analysis of the application of the weekly regional newspaper “Vostochnoe obozrenie” - “Sibirskii sbornik”. Like the newspaper, the supplement was published under the editorship of N.M. Yadrintsev. This periodical is considered as a source of historical information along with more traditional types of documents of a static, clerical, economic and other nature. Being an appendix of one of the most significant publications, the Sibirskii sbornik is nevertheless of interest as an independent basis for determining the actual socio-cultural context of life in the Russian Empire at the end of the XIX century. The purpose of this article is to identify the features of the information image of the northern territories of the state during this period. Regularly published publications of the Sibirskii sbornik allow us to form a circle of key concepts about the North as a unique region: qualitative content analysis has shown that the main characteristics of the North are related to its natural and climatic conditions, indigenous peoples whose traditional places of residence are the northern territories of Russia, the identity of life in the Far North. In this case, the local information publication served as a tool for the representation of regional identity.
