Аннотация: An extension of growth variables is proposed for logistic regression models of tree mortality using metric measurements of tree ring growth in woody plants. The expansion is carried out due to the formation of additional derivative time series from the series of increments of annual rings of woody plants. Tree-ring standardization methods (Bunn, 2010) and empirical mode decompositions (Donghoh and Hee-Seok, 2018) allow the formation of additional derived time series. Using elementary statistics and derived time series, additional growth variables are generated to compute logistic regression models of tree mortality. On the example of two woody plants (Quércus pétraea and Abies alba Mill.), a significant extension of logistic regression models for further analysis of tree mortality is shown. The formation of growth variables and the search for logistic regression models are implemented in the R software environment using the dplR and EMD libraries.
