Аннотация: The distribution of artificial radionuclides between size fractions of the suspended matter in the bulk of the water stream of the Yenisei River near the Mining and Chemical Combine discharge sites was studied. The majority of radionuclides in the region of the discharge site were found to occur in the form of soluble salts or colloids with the particle size smaller than 0.2 ?m. With an increase in the distance from the discharge site, the radionuclides undergo redistribution with the formation of coarser suspended particles due to coagulation. This fact was confirmed by mathematical simulation. © Pleiades Publishing, Inc., 2012.
