Аннотация: Abstract: The influence of technological and design factors on rotary turning by multifaceted cutters is investigated. Semiempirical formulas are proposed to determine the best machining conditions. By optimizing the duration and conditions of machining, the cutting force and temperature in the cutting zone may be decreased, and disintegration of the chip may be improved. © 2022, Allerton Press, Inc.
