Аннотация: Raman spectra of Rb2ZnCl4 in paraelectric phase has been studied, with special attention to internal vibrations of ZnCl4 groups. Violations of symmetry selection rules observed that attributed to orientational disorder of these groups. New lines appearance is ascribed to distortions of the groups' polarizabilities rather than their dynamics, in disordered structure.
