Modeling the influence of the river on the wind pattern of Krasnoyarsk

Аннотация: The article analyzes the environmental situation in the city of Krasnoyarsk based on data of the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of Ecology and Environmental Management of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The influence of the non-freezing Yenisei River on the movement of air masses over the city is considered based on numerical simulation. The obtained results demonstrate the ability to quickly simulate the wind pattern of the city, taking into account the heterogeneous nature of the terrain, heat transfer, wind load, and the influence of the river. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
