Аннотация: Urgency of research of application of an e-platform within the limits of educational programs of modern high school is caused by the fact that in connection with the process of globalization the increase of the role of foreign language due to cross-cultural contacts, the programs of students exchange and combined grants. However according to GOST of Higher Professional Education the quantity of hours devoted to studying foreign languages according to curriculum is not enough for the objectives set by the state for improving communicative competences of future experts of technical specialties. The aim of the article is to reveal the necessity of application of an e-platform during foreign language classes in modern higher school. In the article the following methods are used: the communicatively-focused method and a method of the comparative analysis. Theoretical and methodological basis of research is the stratification methodology, theoretical positions of teaching of foreign languages. The results of work is the application of an e-platform during the foreign language classes and self-study. Owing to new communicative approaches such as: wiki, blog, chat and forum there is an increase of quantity of hours devoted to self-study. Self-study experienced by students achieved a new form, motivating them on search of the new information on the Internet, the communications with the teacher and group mates through blogs, chats and forums. The study of application of an e-platform in modern higher school allows making a conclusion about a necessity of universal and consecutive introduction of this technology in educational process for perfection and progresses of the intellectual and common cultural level and professionalism, as well as capacities to use foreign languages as means of business dialogue freely.
