Аннотация: Planning structure of socialist cities in Germany is very similar to that of Russian cities, as well as the problems of its renovation during the post-industrial period of development. On the one hand, embod- iment of the ideas of Le Corbusier's "isolation" of the city from the ground surface dissolution in the "green" space (Air forces town in Hamburg, Academic district in Berlin) is very typical for Germany, the other unprecedented attempts had been undertook of the renovation of the industrial territories (Shpeen- eray factory in Leipzig) and the rehabilitation of the water system of Leipzig, which was transformed in the sewer by the functioning of industrial enterprises. Special attention should be paid for the re-modeling of housing micro districts of the socialist period of the construction.
