Аннотация: The structures of the well-known perovskite-like crystals, including stoichiometric and both cation- and anion-deficient compounds, are considered as intergrowth systems of stacks consisting either of n layers (n = 1 - infinity) connected via the vertices of the BX6 octahedra or of combinations of layers of octahedra, BX5 pyramids, and planar networks of BX4 squares with intermediate block layers of various types. The classification of stacks and block layers in these structures is suggested. Based on this classification, the known structure types are considered and new structure types, including various possible superconductor structures, are predicted.
