Аннотация: The article provides an assessment of methods for solving the problem of implementing alarm systems in mines that are resistant to emergency situations, such as landslides and explosions, which can disable wired communication methods with personnel. To organize a signaling and emergency communication channel in mines for various purposes, the use of VLF and ULF (300 Hz - 30 kHz) electromagnetic waves is considered. A signal with an information message is received using an individual RFID tag informing personnel both in the conditions of stable operation of the mine and in emergency situations. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
