Аннотация: Using Faraday's method the temperature and concentration dependences of magnetic susceptibility, ?, for Pd-Au, Pd-Ge, Pd-Al, and Pd-Cu melts are studied. The effect of melt composition on ? value, as well as the dependence of magnetochemical equilibrium on the effective valency of the alloying metal, z, are investigated. It is shown that the concentrations corresponding to the transition from paramagnetism to diamagnetism decrease with the grow of z value. The conclusion is made on the relation between the magnetic susceptibility of Pd-based alloys and electronic structure of the alloying metal.
