Аннотация: This article examines the analysis of the introduction of teleworking in Russia, which has accelerated under the influence of the digitalization of the economy. Remote work in Russia is developing in the same directions as in foreign countries. The study showed that in Russia there are similar legal structures in telecommuting. Remote work can be for a certain period, as well as with the possibility of alternating remote and traditional forms. Today, both Russian and foreign legislation is developing in the direction of clarifying the rights and obligations of teleworkers, as well as the legal possibilities of employers in relation to them. When introducing remote work, a number of problems arose. In particular, an economic mechanism is needed to compensate for the cost of equipment owned by a remote worker. It is also advisable to substantiate the working hours of remote workers and their labor standards. Taking into account the introduction of electronic document management and other attributes of digitalization, remote work will be greatly developed in the near future. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
