Аннотация: The historical kernel of Yeniseisk includes not only architectural dominants, but also ordinary tim- bered building. Preservation of historical wooden building as most important part of the historical and ar- chitectural environment of Yeniseisk, has to be part of the program of a strategic development of the city. Around architectural monuments the background building which isn't breaking their perception remains. Introduction in old building of the new volumes meeting the modern requirements to a standard of living is inevitable. Thus preservation of architectural appearance of historical streets with a silhouette inherent in it, proportions, scale is necessary. Research of typological and architectural and art aspects of a histori- cal wooden residential development of Yeniseisk will allow to keep continuity of traditions at new con- struction in historic center.? ?
