Аннотация: This article discusses the expert system (simulator) of platinum affinage, its scientificmethodical and software-algorithmic support. This system is based on simulation modeling technology. Platinum affinage belongs to the multi-step processes with distributed parameters, where one finished technological operation is carried out on each stage. The values of key parameters are measured with considerable error and delay. That's why, efficient technology management can be reached only in case of control with forecasting elements, using mathematical functions. Authors used a unified approach to the management of individual stages. During the development of an expert system, there were used the experimental data, taken from sensors, and calculated values of parameters, derived from mathematical dependencies. Instant balance methods, based on equations of material and thermal balances and top-down modeling method, were used in platinum affinage simulation technology. Imitator replaced the sensor operation in simulator mode. Process control system of affinage was written in the programming language Delphi. Verification of this expert system was carried out on real solutions of one of Russian enterprises. This system shows a good convergence of production data and expert model. It is designed for training of personnel of potentially hazardous technological object, and senior students of metallurgical profile. This system allows to investigate the research object in various operation modes, and to purchase the practice skills for better management and trouble-free running.
