Аннотация: A new methodology is shown to perform medical image processing by the shearlet transform. The contours of the processed images are obtained and compared with those obtained with classic processing filters. Thus it is shown that the shearlet transform performs processing images with greater precision. The results obtained with the filter shearlet, compared with Prewitt filter and Sobel for dental, urological and lung images.
