Аннотация: The paper treats a multigrid iterative algorithm for the numerical solving the systems of linear algebraic equations which arise in the mixed finite element method for the stationary Strokes problem. The convergence rate of the algorithm is independent of the mesh size. This algorithm differs from other multigrid ones by its simple smoothing procedure and greater convergence rate due to an improved choice of iteration parameters for indefinite matrices. © 1988 VSP.
