Аннотация: Model samples of copper(II) and zinc oxides were prepared for examining the possibilities of a selective leaching of zinc from a mixture of the above oxides. The conditions for their preparation were selected from the results of the thermographic analysis. The determination of the chemical composition and the x-ray diffraction analysis showed the identity of the model samples with samples obtained from industrial slags with respect to the content of the inner metal sulfate and the degree of crystallization. From a comparative analysis of the regression equations of the sorptional dissolution of zinc and copper oxides obtained by the method of mathematical planning and processing of the experimental results, the optimal conditions of preferential leaching out of zinc have been selected.
