Аннотация: The paper examines the bank competitiveness influenced by the digitalization of the economy. In the field of finance, digitalization implies the usage of electronic payments and e-commerce along with innovative technologies aimed at providing digital services. This paper aims to assess the digitalization level affecting the general competitiveness of banks and its components on the example of Russian banks. Authors use standardized input statistical indicators, comparison analysis and a regression and correlation analysis to examine this phenomenon. This approach lets authors evaluate the efficiency of banks in the course of digitalization and shows the attractiveness of bank’s investment in digital tools and services. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
