Аннотация: This paper proposes a new modified stochastic model of steady-state operating conditions for a load-dependent (current-dependent) energy losses estimation in electric distribution networks of any configuration. This model is based on stochastic simulation of a power covariance matrix and electric power loads. Electric power load variation is presented in the form of a linear combination of some independent random factors. It is able to correctly take into account a variety of power system operating conditions with a small volume of initial information, and to determine energy losses for a certain time-period in one computation of expected values of power loads. Energy losses are determined with sufficient accuracy and reliability for practical purposes. (C) 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
