Аннотация: The electromagnetic held is analysed by combining the method of integral transformations, the boundary collocation method and discretization of the properties of the medium. The integral parameters of a "rectangular inductor - cylindrical channel with liquid metal" induction system are determined. This approach enables one to avoid the use of special cylindrical functions and at the same time take into account changes in the angular velocity of the rotation of the metal over the channel's radius; The approach considered can be used when designing induction channel furnaces and electrical machines.
