Аннотация: The problem of cosmic dust captured by the Earth, which is a special case within the general problem of micrometeoroid matter accretion is considered. The interplanetary space is considered as an ensemble of "dust plasma". The possibility of a sharp change in charge and potential of a cosmic dust particle in a cloud of the suprathermal electrons is of particular importance in this investigation. This effect must be taken into account to understand the mechanism of energy flux through the cusp channel. This is also significant for ensuring the serviceability of spacecrafts (SC) in the near-Earth space. © 1996 MAEe cyrillic signK Hay?a/Interperiodica Publishing.
