Аннотация: Geographic information systems by their nature are a great candidate for the role of the main inte- grating element in a whole design process in a broad sense. They combine economic, legal and political aspects with the graphical representation. Modern GIS can run on the server in multiuser environment, providing results in map, 3D, tabular modes. Information can be layered, allowing comparison of various project proposals in the same environment, in the same context, the opportunity to study history.?Development of a unified GIS for the city. Architectural and urban designs, projects, proposals are ex- pressed in different forms, and not always in the form of GIS resource. Interactive map of the city with visual references, leading to these proposals, supplemented by social and technical functions could be convenient, accessible and open platform where interested citizens and professionals could plan their livable city.?
