Аннотация: The equilibrium of complex formation of bismuth(III) with thiourea in aqueous and water-alcohol solutions (60 vol % of alcohol) was studied by measuring the redox potential of the thiourea-formamidine dis- ulfide system at 298.1 K and an acidity of 1 M HClO4. For the Bi(Thio)n 3+complexes, the formation functions were determined and the effective (?n) and true (?n *) formation constants were calculated. An anomaly in the ratio between the stepwise stability constants of the complexes was confirmed. It was found that in this system, the maximum coordination number of Bi(III) is eight.
