Аннотация: The practice-oriented model of engineers training in technical university is discussed. The modern conditions require improving the quality of education and are associated with the introduction into the educational process the research component, as well as the practice-oriented training of specialists. Implementation of practiceoriented approach in the training of engineers will contribute to formation a particular set of professional competencies (soft skills) and enables graduates to quickly engage in the production chain. This is possible if the aim of the practice-oriented training of engineers in undergraduate course is to obtain the applied engineering competencies and basic soft skills, the work in a team of engineering projects in the competition formats and the introduction in the educational process the compulsory module "Project activity". In the master course is necessary learning the specialized engineering competencies and soft skills in project management, as well as perform qualifying work in the form of a real engineering project. The experience of Siberian State Aerospace University in the field of practice-oriented training of engineers is discussed. Using the project-and-team education technology can improve the quality of engineers training and guarantees the competitive advantages of the graduating students in the labor market and their effective work in the enterprises. Implementation of the model of practice-oriented training of engineers can improve the quality and efficiency of engineering training system based on market requirements.
