Аннотация: A procedure is described for fabrication of compact cable thermocouples from Chromel and Copel (or Chromel and Alumel) alloys, the conductor diameter being less than 0. 2 m. Thermocouples fabricated by the technology described can be used successfully when the length of the thermocouple sheath is less than 500 mm and the temperature to be measured does not exceed 850 degree C. These devices, while retaining the advantages of standard cable thermocouples, are simpler to construct. The described method is useful in the laboratory for small-scale production.
