Аннотация: A new process for modification of coal tar pitch is proposed. The time of modification is reduced to 1 hour as compared to 8 hours in the conventional process. The consideration of mechanism of the modifications in structure and properties of pitch under hydropercussion-cavitation treatment is focused on expanding its application scope with a view of manufacture of electrodes.
