Аннотация: The issues of international economic integration for the development of the Arcticterritories are considered . The review of the main forms of international coopera-tion in the Arctic is presented . The activities of the main international institutionsimplementing environmental policy in the Arctic are reviewed, an expert assess-ment of its effectiveness is given, and further prospects are analyzed . The conclu-sion is drawn that in the Arctic it is necessary to work out a new “transnationalmodel” of cooperation - efficient use of resources on a new innovative basis .
