Speech culture in preserving a person's national identity [Речевая культура в сохранении национальной идентичности личности] : научное издание

Аннотация: One of the strong foundations of a person's self-identification in the process of his or her national self-affirmation is the native language. A person's language is inseparable from the culture and social context of his or her existence. Each thought, as a product of the mental activity, is presented through speech and identifies its carrier. The aim of the study is to substantiate and implement the pedagogical conditions for the development of future bachelors' speech culture as the foundations of their national identification. The authors used theoretical (substantiation of the idea and pedagogical conditions) and empirical (summative and formative assessment) research methods. The scientific idea of the development of speech culture is to present it as a step-by-step process through the development of a person's basic culture achieved by mastering the humanities, general speech culture aimed to carry out communicative activities using language tools in communication and interaction, and the professional speech culture of a future bachelor for a certain professional sphere of activity. The implementation of such an idea will satisfy the order of the state and society for the preparation of future bachelors, having a high speech culture in the area of oral and written communication, business communication skills, able to optimally use the means of the native language in professionally relevant areas of activity. The conducted study expands the understanding of the development of future bachelors' speech culture by developing a sustainable interest in speech activities, mastering a normative strategy for high-quality information exchange and effective speech activity in solving professional tasks with the use of the practice- and profession-oriented electronic educational resource developed on the Moodle platform. © 2019 LLC Ecological Help.
