Аннотация: On the broader historiographical material provides a general comprehensive picture of the design, construction and operation of a unique complex of objects of town planning and engineering of Siberia second half XIX - early XX century - the Ob and the Yenisei connecting waterway as part of a large-scale project to create a deep-sea trans-level transit communication, projected on the territory of the whole Russia - from St. Petersburg to the Pacific ocean.
