Аннотация: Sorption dissolution of zinc and copper oxides and hydroxides was studied to determine some thermodynamic characteristics of the process. The constants of sorption dissolution were found (107-1011), whose values evidence that dissolution of basic materials adsorbed on strongly acid KU-2-8 cationite in the H form is to a substantial extent a thermodynamically controlled process. For the example of zinc oxide, it was shown by microcalorimetrically studying its sorption dissolution that, thermodynamically, the process is controlled by not only the enthalpy but also by the entropy factor.
